Make yourself a priority and invest in yourself with our yoga trip to Bali in November. This yoga trip, led by Anna Hultman and Charlotte Fredriksson, suits you who wants to deepen your knowledge and insights in yoga and enjoy the best that Bali has to offer in the form of experiences, surfing, recovery, sun and heat. Just when you need the most to replenish with vitamin D and energy for the coming winter.

During this trip we combine yoga with surf and cool beach clubs, rice fields, temples and excursions. We start the trip in the small but vibrant surf village of Canggu. After four nights in this relaxed surf paradise, we head up to Ubud to end the trip with two nights in Bali's yoga mecca. Except from the wonderful travel experience, this trip will also be like a light version of a yoga teacher training where you really get to deepen your knowledge in yoga.

  • When you book your trip you pay SEK 3000 in booking fee to secure your place within 7 days from the booking date.

  • You pay the remaning amount no later than 60 days before depature. You can choose to divide your payment monthly in between.

Go Yoga-konceptet fokuserar på yoga, återhämtning, reflektion och att stanna upp. Resorna erbjuder flera former av yoga, med både fysiska positioner och flöden som varvas med andning, filosofi och meditation där man får möjlighet att fördjupa och utveckla sin praktik. In Canggu, in addition to practicing our daily yoga, meditation and philosophy classes, we will surf with our local, well-trained surf instructors, visit one of Bali's most popular Beach Clubs "Potato Head". We will also have time to discover the vibrant city.

After our days in Canggu, we head by bus up to Ubud. In addition to being a mecca for yoga practitioners and recording locations for the movie Eat, Pray and Love with Julia Roberts, Ubud is known for its beautiful nature, its magnificent temples and rich culture. Fans of the movie still pilgrim here from all over the world every year.

We continue our daily yoga at the hotel, but also explore yoga at The Yoga Barn. We have a chance to visit there small café set in a beautiful environment that serves holistic health food with raw, vegan and Ayurvedic alternatives. Their juice bar has everything you could wish for in the form of freshly squeezed juices, coconut drinks, snacks and healthy popsicles. Here in Ubud those who wish can choose doexciting excursion, or you can just stay behind, relax and enjoy the pool at the hotel.

  • Anna Hultman

    Yoga teacher

    Anna Hultman har verkat som yogalärare i över 15 år. Redan 2003 gick hon sin första yogalärarutbildning i Miami, USA, där hon då bodde. Efter följde ett stort antal utbildningar och kurser, och sedan dess har hon delat yogan över hela världen. Hon har även utbildat hundratals yogalärare och är idag en ”teacher’s teacher” och mentor för ett stort antal lärare, både i Sverige och utomlands. Annas klasser har en särskild förmåga att beröra och hon manar till både reflektion och eftertänksamhet, glädje och skratt samtidigt som hon uppmuntrar till att även titta på de mer djupa livsfrågorna. Idag bor Anna i Hong Kong och undervisar främst internationellt.

  • Charlotte Fredriksson

    Yogalärare och kostrådgivare

    Charlotte Fredriksson är kostrådgivare och yogalärare sedan flera år tillbaka och vidareutbildar sig mot 500hRYT på Yogayamas Advanced Training. Hennes klasser är dynamiska med inslag av flow, stillhet, djup, eftertänksamhet och intensitet som passar alla nivåer och män som kvinnor. Charlotte fokuserar även mycket på avslappning, självkänsla och kroppsmedvetenhet under klassen. Som hälsoföreläsare och kostrådgivare inspirerar Charlotte till hållbar hälsa på alla plan med mycket fokus på kosten, tarmfloran men också motion, stress och återhämtning. Idag jobbar hon i huvudsak som Verksamhetsansvarig på Go Active Travel men följer även med som yogalärare och hälsoföreläsare på flera av våra resor.

Boende och mat

We start our trip at the bohemian and newly renovated "The ChillHouse" in Canggu. Located 3 kilometers from the beach this is a tropical lifestyle retreat with individually decorated rooms, comfortable beds and AC. Several of the rooms even offer shower and toilet in the open air! The ChillHouse is not a completely conventional hotel, but we love it. The luxury here lies in the genuinely friendly staff, the good vegetarian food and the relaxed atmosphere. Here you will also find two pools, a yogashala and spa treatments for both body and soul.

At The ChillHouse the’ve taken a stand for sustainable food and a step away from the current food system that is today. The menu only offers local vegan and vegetarian ingredients by the season. The food served is organic and residues are composted or reused as animal feed. Here we learn to eat what is best for our bodies and the nature.

Canggu is a relaxed surfers paradise that proudly shows off its lovely beach, its many yoga studios, and its large selection of fantastic restaurants and trendy cafes.

After four nights in Canggu, we head to Bali's yoga mecca Ubud for a two-night stay. Here we slightly upgrade our accommodation and move into the middle of the rice fields with The Yoga Barn, Monkey Forest, excursions, shopping, restaurants and beautiful temples all near by.

Alaya Resort is a sophisticated and exotic boutique hotel right next to The Yoga Barn and a sanctuary away from the noisy streets in central Ubud. The hotel offers stylish rooms, pool, spa, gym and of course a private yogashala. Here, too, we are met by friendly and professional staff who are happy to help you find your favorites in Ubud and its surroundings.

What physical level is required for this trip?
Everyone is welcome to attend this trip. The yoga is structured as a yoga teacher training and suits you who is new and wants to gain a broad insight in yoga, as well as you who has practiced yoga for a while or already passed a yoga teacher training and wants to deepen your practice. Some classes may be split up to meet different levels. The trip's layout is also suitable for those who want to test something new like surfing. You choose for your self what you want to participate in during the trip.

Can I go alone?
You can definitely travel alone. Making a yoga trip is a great way to get to know new people who share the same interests as yourself.

I want to go with a friend, but we are at different levels. Can we go together anyway?
Of course! It does not matter if you are at different levels, the yoga and surf is adapted so that everyone can participate according to their own conditions.

What do I need to bring with me?
For the yoga you will need to bring with you a couple of changes of clothing, and shoes suitable for excursions. Light summer clothes, sunblock and evening wear. Yoga mats are available to borrow at the hotel but bring your own if you wish. Laundry facilities are available at the hotel.
